Joining a Team

SpiderOak CrossClave allows a user to be part of multiple teams. Immediately after launching CrossClave for the first time the user needs to either Create a Team or Join a Team. Most End-Users will Join a Team. Joining a Team can be achieved by selecting the 'Join a Team' button and entering the invite code received from the team admin into the appropriate field.

It is then important to keep the recovery key that is generated for you somewhere safe. You can read more about recovery phrases here:

In the event you are already a member of a team and wish to join another new team you can do so by first selecting the hamburger menu in the top left hand corner of the CrossClave application window and then selecting the 'Add New Team' option from the dropdown menu. Repeat the steps above to join a new team. As a reminder the team owner or admin of the team you are trying to join will need to give you the invite code in order for you to join their team.
