Logging in to an existing account may be slightly different than what you're used to. Performing the following steps will allow you to access your account on a new device.
First, download the application from https://spideroak.com/opendownload/ and install it.
After you install CrossClave, launch the application and use the 'Add a device' button.
Next, enter your Team Join URL. If you are a customer of SpiderOak's hosted CrossClave SaaS version, your Team Join URL is the following:
If you are using a different setup, such as a self-hosted version of CrossClave, you will need to use the Team Join URL provided by your team admin.
Finally, enter your Recovery Phrase then click Continue. Your Recovery Key was generated when you set up your first device on CrossClave. It consists of a long string of English words separated by spaces. If you don’t have this, you will need to set up a new account.
The application will load for some time, up to a few minutes, then you’ll be dropped into your account with teams and spaces ready for you to use. Please be patient during this process as it can take several minutes depending on how many teams and spaces you are in.
