As of CrossClave v18, CrossClave users can now send files to others outside of the CrossClave application via the Airlock feature.
You will need to have the airlock process active and engaged until the other user has downloaded the file.
To do this, launch CrossClave and navigate to the files tab of the space where the file you want to share resides. Then select the ellipses inline of the file. Select the 'Secure Send' option
This will open a sub-window within CrossClave confirming your selection. Review your selection and choose 'Continue'.
CrossClave will then create the page for the external user to visit. This page will give you the webpage to send to the user and the secret phrase the user needs to enter to get to the file. Send that information to the user.
The user will see the following once they visit the page, they simply need to enter the code and select 'Get File' to begin the download.
If you wish to cancel the download you can select the 'Cancel' button to end the airlock. This will prevent the file from being accessed further.
